Assistant Controller
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support our Financial Controller in the day-to-day management of the company’s accounting and financial operations.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our Financial Controller in the day-to-day management of the company’s accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and analytical skills who enjoys working with financial data and supporting accurate reporting processes.
The Assistant Controller will play an important role in maintaining financial records, assisting with accounting tasks, and helping ensure the smooth execution of financial procedures and controls.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Financial Controller with daily accounting and finance operations
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Assist with bank and account reconciliations
Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation to external auditors when required
Maintain organized records related to inventory accounting and financial transactions
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
